DISH Legacy

DISH Pro (DP)

  • Splitter Support: Supports TV2 or OTA feeds; can be used with amps for commercial installations

  • Diplexer Support: Supports diplexed OTA or TV2 feeds

DISH Pro Plus (DPP)

  • Frequency Range: 950MHz - 2150MHz

  • Communication: Two-way DiSEqC; band stacking creates two frequency bands for two tuners

  • Tuners Supported: 2 per coax

  • Splitter Support: Supports TV2 or OTA feeds

  • Diplexer Support: Supports diplexed OTA or TV2 feeds

DISH Pro Extreme (DPX)

  • Frequency Range: 650MHz - 30000MHz

  • Communication: DiSEqC for two-way signals; band stacking creates three frequency bands with MoCA for data transmission

  • Tuners Supported: 3 per coax

  • Splitter Support: Designed for splitting Client feeds (MoCA)

  • Diplexer Support: None; OTA or TV2 feeds cannot be diplexed

DISH Pro Zip (DPZ)

  • Frequency Range: 500MHz - 2150MHz

  • Communication: FSK replaces DiSEqC; channel stack switching; MoCA used for data transmission

  • Tuners Supported: 18, 16 for receiver use per coax

  • Splitter Support: Designed for splitting Client feeds (MoCA); Channel Stack Splitter for multiple receiver use

  • Diplexer Support: None; OTA or TV2 feeds cannot be diplexed

DISH Pro Hybrid (DPH)

  • Details: Supports DP, DPP, DPX, and DPZ based on the receiver; output DPZ on port 1

  • LNBFs: EA Twin & Slimline LNBF, WA Triple & Slimline LNBF

  • Switches: DPH 42 Switch

MoCA

  • Frequency Range: 650MHz - 875 MHz

  • Communication: Standard for network data transmission; susceptible to interference

  • Diplexer Support: None; OTA or TV2 feeds cannot be diplexed

  • Splitter Support: Designed for splitting MoCA feeds; requires proper termination for unused ports

Tuner Capabilities

  • Receivers' tuners act as filters selecting the desired channel's transponder

  • Single, Dual, or Dual Tuners (Two TVs) support various TV configurations

  • Hopper manages all tuners, allowing multiple viewing or recording simultaneously

DISH Anywhere

  • Utilizes a single tuner on the receiver for live TV streaming

  • Only one live stream available on DISH Anywhere regardless of receiver tuners or devices authorized
